I currently have a splash screen (with a checkbox on it to disable it) in my
application. It will stay displayed for X seconds until the time
requirement is met, then a press anywhere on the screen will move it to the
next form.

However, I would like it to automatically go to the next form. I've read
the old newsgroup postings about doing similar things to this, which
specified using EvtGetEvent(...), etc. to accomplish this. I am however,
still not entirely sure how to pull off the timed "move to the next form"
procedure. I already have an event handler set up for the splash screen,
which I am using for detecting clicks on my checkbox.

Does anyone have an example they could post so that I could see how this
timed splash screen implmentation works? I'd really appreciate it because I
haven't done much with putting events into the queue in the Palm OS, and
there seems to be a lot of taboos with SystemTimers and such.

Thanks in advance,
