The use of POSE and Network Hotsync is very usefull to develop and debug conduits, it isn't ? Unfortunately, european peoples aren't welcome to network hotsyncing, here is the answer that I receive this morning from Palm Computing France to my question about network hotsyncing :
"L'option réseau n'est pas supportée en Europe." Because I try since one month to have network capabilities with Palm Desktop 3.1, Hotsync 3.1 and Palm OS 3.5 (french releases), I found the next solution : ----- First : - shut Hotsync down. - edit the following registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/U.S. Robotics/Pilot Desktop/HotSync Manager - set the entry NetworkCapable to 0xFFFFFFFF - restart Hotsync. ---- Second : - download netsync.prc at http://www.palm.com/support/downloads/netsync.zip - install this .prc in Pose Emulator - strange that the PalmOs hotsync application has now network capabilities, no ? ---- End - you can now configure Pose, PalmOS and Hotsync as needed ! I'm sorry for my low level in english but I hope this is helpfull to some europeans developers...
