Thanks for the info, Carlos. I didn't know that option. I didn't
translate those messages because they are regular messages about loading
part files and sharing files which I don't find useful for the problem.
I tried to debug the problem (before reading the translation tip)
following the guide http://wiki.amule.org/wiki/Backtraces with the amule
version I compiled with debugging activated, and after installing a lot
of *debuginfo*packages gdb asked for I got nothing (important stuff is
at the end):
