As I said in the GH issue above, by CRAN policy, R packages do not contain a license. The R package contains all the licenses allowed once, and then packages just declare which one they use. So this is fine. The R packaging guidelines are not in very good shape, TBH, and they don't reflect yet some practices that I'm changing to e.g. make mass rebuilds for new versions of R much easier.
