The destination(s) are ok, but possibly no-one has used ubuntu for
what you;re trying to do.
thank you for your response - I will give it a try then.
Possibly the information is just outdated - I hoped that one of the
"Ubuntu HA Maintainers" team would reading this and could clarify the
state of the packages in Ubuntu Precise.

Is this still true and is it not recommended to use above combination on
Ubuntu? I didn't find the information which (critical) bugs exists in this
context.
