Hi Lars, Got your point. Actually I changed the permissions of those log files back. In my case, it looks that moving the mysqld.pid location from /var/run/mysqld to /var/lib/mysql was the fix. Can you explain why?
Are you working for Linbit? I am looking for technical support contract for the cluster servers. This is our first cluster HA system. Once we can show it works well, we plan to build a few more clusters, specially a scalable storage cluster, to replace the existing Isilon cluster. Do your support HA clusters consisting of Pacemaker, heartbeat or corosync, drbd of course, and GFS2 or OCFS2?
