Hi Team,
We're looking to optimize our OVN deployment in our CLOS network architecture and would like to get the community's input on moving gateway chassis placement from leaf to border switches. Current Architecture: [Hypervisors] -> [Leaf Switches + OVN GW Chassis] -> [Spine] -> [Super Spine] -> [Border] -> [PE] Proposed Architecture: [Hypervisors] -> [Leaf Switches] -> [Spine] -> [Super Spine] -> [Border + OVN GW Chassis] -> [PE] Key drivers for this change: Optimize external load balancer integration Improve NAT gateway functionality Centralize external connectivity management Better scale for north-south traffic We'd appreciate insights on: Performance implications Best practices for migration Similar experiences from other deployments Potential challenges to consider Has anyone else implemented similar architecture changes? What were your learnings? Looking forward to the community's thoughts and experiences. Best regards, Srini
