You should base your patches on the main branch and add details of the new
feature on the "Post-XXXX" section, currently: "Post-v3.3.0".
When the release comes, maintainers will replace "Post-v{N}" with "v{N+1} -
{Date}" which goes to the version branch and create a new section titled
"Post-v{N+1}".
