Hi expert We need upgrade libdpdk-18_11 for security issue. But DPDK are not working after libdpdk-18_11-18.11.9-3.21.2.x86_64 upgarde to libdpdk-18_11-18.11.9-3.24.1.x86_64 or libdpdk-18_11-18.11.9-3.26.1.x86_64. Our system is SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 (x86_64) SP5 We used below rpm before upgrade it was ok: # rpm -qa|grep vswitch openvswitch-debuginfo-2.11.5-3.18.2.x86_64 openvswitch-debugsource-2.11.5-3.18.2.x86_64 libopenvswitch-2_11-0-debuginfo-2.11.5-3.18.2.x86_64 libopenvswitch-2_11-0-2.11.5-3.18.2.x86_64 openvswitch-2.11.5-3.18.2.x86_64 # rpm -qa|grep dpdk dpdk-debuginfo-18.11.9-3.15.1.x86_64 dpdk-tools-18.11.9-3.26.1.x86_64 dpdk-kmp-default-18.11.9_k4.12.14_122.150-3.26.1.x86_64 libdpdk-18_11-18.11.9-3.21.2.x86_64 dpdk-kmp-default-debuginfo-18.11.9_k4.12.14_122.150-3.26.1.x86_64 dpdk-18.11.9-3.26.1.x86_64 dpdk-debugsource-18.11.9-3.15.1.x86_64 dpdk-tools-debuginfo-18.11.9-3.15.1.x86_64 libdpdk-18_11-debuginfo-18.11.9-3.15.1.x86_64
After libdpdk-18_11 upgraded to libdpdk-18_11-18.11.9-3.24.1.x86_64 or libdpdk-18_11-18.11.9-3.26.1.x86_64 our DPDK ports have issue and ping is unsuccessful. We have checked log files: ovs-vswitchd.log and ovsdb-server.log but no useful information found. Could you give us some suggestion for this issue? Thanks! Br/Tony
