Hi, We are planning to create a new OpenStack environment for our company. Our old architecture has a proprietary SDN solution that we don't need and locks us to itself.
We are trying to plan our new network infrastructure that is totally open source and non proprietary. We are planning to give features to our customers like self service networking, container clusters, lbaas, and fwaas with our new infrastructure. There are OpenStack services that cover container clusters, lbaas, fwaas but we are curious about lower level networking capabilities like routing between physical hosts, managing between spine and lead switches without proprietary SDN solution. Does OpenvSwitch cover those areas or should we extend our research to further solutions? Best wishes Umut ÇAKIR
