Freetext are containers into which you may store ancillary information about a ticket or an article. The additional information appears at the appropriate level in the ticket view, ie. TicketFreeText appears throughout the ticket view, and ArticleFreeText only appears for a particular article. Some FreeText fields are used to enable ITSM functionality.
