Okay,

was my own fault. I started of with a new Config.pm and didn't had the
settings right for the CustomerDB. In the settings there I can specify
which fields are to be search, i.e.

 CustomerUserSearchFields => ['login', 'last_name', 'first_name',
'customer_id', 'company' , 'email' ] ,


All working now.
