I am not aware of any automated method, I know that for agent accounts attached 
to LDAP you can specify what fields from the LDAP record you would like to be 
used in creation of the agent record the first time the login. I don't know if 
that exists for the customer backend or not.

The customer tables are not that complicated I am sure that you could write an 
export/import query to transfer the data.
