hello all - very new builds of #osgeolive are starting for FOSS4G
Belem. I see Ubuntu noble is preferring openjdk-21-jdk ? Is this
surprising or a problem here? .. looking forward to another
stablegeoserver in 2024

: Java 21 is not officially supported by GeoServer, as we don't have
any test deploy with it. But in practice, we do run builds over it,
and the GeoServer Cloud project (which repackages GeoServer as a set
of micro-services) runs on Java 21... so it cannot be that bad (some
tweaks to the startup scripts might be needed). If you want to stay
with something that we support (as in, there are deploys off), keep
Java 17.
