PerfectTIN takes a point cloud of terrain (preferably cleaned, i.e. no trees,
cars, or buildings, though it gives sensible results with houses, except at
the eaves) and constructs a TIN, using least squares for best fit. I'm
developing it on Eoan (and Bionic when away from home, as that's what's on my
laptop), but darkblue_b has compiled and run it on Focal.

The current released version is 0.4.0. I'm planning to release 0.4.1 in two
weeks at the most; this version will export TINs in PLY format if compiled
with Plytapus, as well as DXF, AquaVeo TIN, Carlson TIN, and LandXML. Would it
be appropriate to add this program to OSGeoLive?

After 0.4.1 I'm planning to add color to the PLY file output and speed up the
processing. Both of those will take too long to make it into the next
OSGeoLive.
