Cameron: Maybe you want to set up an ideas wiki page like the one in [1] with the idea that you are proposing for our project https://github.com/pgRouting/pgrouting/wiki/GSoC-Ideas%3A-2019 Then give us the link, if someone has more ideas that a student can do add the idea.
My experience with pgRouting is that ideas, we have a lot, mentors those are difficult to get. Then cross your fingers so that a student picks up your project and idea to work with.
