Thanks Geoffroy,
I have tried installing again, this time with Centos 5.4, following Oscar web
site's main instructions (rpm -qa indicates Oscar 6.0.5-1).
This time I receive a different error during Oscar-config --bootstrap. Now it
claims that perl-DBD-MySQL and mysql-server were not installed. Should I
install these myself, manually, or is Oscar supposed to do that?
Cheers,
Neil

Hello,
Please update your debian packages (assuming you have a x86_64 platform and try
again, many bugs have been fixed. Let me know if you still have issues.
Thanks,
