Hey All - I was playing with the OSCSAR 5 VMWare FC5 virtual head node
image that Erich Focht put together (
http://home.arcor.de/efocht/oscar_vm.html ) , and ran into a problem
with dependencies. The VMWare Virtual Head Node is using a slightly out
of date oscar-repo-common RPM set - it includes
torque-modulefile-2.0.0p8-2.noarch.rpm
Which depends on torque 2.0.0p8-2 version packages. The current OSCAR 5
distribution repos (eg oscar-rhel4-repo) contains the 2.0.0p8-3 (note
the 3, not 2 at the end) versions, which are incompatible with the
virtual head node instances.
Simply download the latest oscar-repo-* package sets, and replace the
/tftpboot/oscar/common-rpms in the virtual head node with the new
oscar-commmon-rpms distribution. Can be downloaded from:
http://oscar.openclustergroup.org/download
