The word "origami" was also mentioned as the Japanese word for paperfolding in 
Robert Harbin's book, "Paper Magic" in 1956 (...) At the same time, the word 
"Origami" appeared in the titles of several books in English by Japanese 
authors that were just beginning to appear in the United States and Europe.


Which might be those "books in English by Japanese authors"? I checked for 
Japanese family name's in the bibliography, but none of the book titles seemed 
to be in English.
