Thanks for your tip. I am actually looking for the support rig for an overhead shot, regardless of the camera or phone. Since I will be using this for zoom as well as single shots or video, I am going to stay with my recent iPhone Pro, which takes great pictures, even in low light. I have been an Apple diehard fan for 30 years. How time flies. Based on previous DIY experiments with chemistry lab ring stand gear, with laboratory clamps to support a long cross bar between two ring stands, I was searching for a modern photography equivalent. I settled on the Glide Gear OH100 Professional Metal Overhead Table Top Mount Stand, sold through Amazon. This is a portable equivalent of what I did years ago with the lab equipment. I decided on a good iPhone clamp to use with the OH100. The lab gear is a bit cheaper, but it is heavy and clunky and moving it to distant locations would be awkward. The OH100 allows ways to attach lights, or a mike, etc. I am still deciding on lighting gear, though it doesn’t need to be high end. I will light just the hands and the paper. I have even tried asking ChatGTP for gear recommendations, then evaluating in the light of common sense, YouTube reviews, etc. I know almost nothing about photography gear, which can get expensive. I still wonder what gear folders like Sara Adams or Robert Lang might use. Vedder
