On my birthday I decided to undertake a year-long project to fold one model a day (OMAD*). I know this is not a unique goal for paper folding enthusiasts, but for me, it is simply a challenge to myself to fold one model daily, preferably one that I’ve never folded before, or fold a long forgotten favorite model that I haven’t folded in a while.
To document this endeavor, I decided to post pictures of the models that I folded on Flickr. A photo of my debut model was posted on August 9th to launch the site (under Tinker Folder). My plan is to post a photo of my weekly output every Friday to chronicle my progress (or lack thereof). I will make every effort to give proper attribution to the creators, as well as reference the sources of diagrams I used, video tutorials that I followed or credit fellow paper folders who taught the model during an in-person or hybrid meeting. Wish me luck, Belle Fernandez ______ * OMAD is also the acronym for One Meal A Day, a form extreme Intermittent Fasting regimen. I borrowed the acronym for this project because it fits the description perfectly.
