Hi everyone!

I’m excited to announce that I have a new challenge for you, with a new set of tutorials that will be released starting June 3 and continuing until August 9!
It’s called Summer of Twists and there will be 30 quick tutorials (released on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for 10 weeks) on how to fold different twists used in origami tessellations and how to recognize them in crease patterns.
Each twist tutorial will be accompanied by a longer tutorial on how to practice the twist in a tessellation and these tutorials are already available on my YouTube channel.
The crease patterns for these longer tutorials are all in the Summer of Twists ebook (also available through OUSA), along with 30 more patterns (one for each twist) to test your understanding of what you’ve learned.
There is very little overlap between this ebook and the Advent of Tess ebooks, and many of the challenge patterns have only been seen before in my Tessellation Garden portal of 450+ designs.

This is a free challenge, just like Advent of Tess, and it’s a great opportunity to introduce origami tessellations to your friends and family since the grids for the twists are small (mostly 8 divisions) and all folded on squares (I’m using 6 inch/15 cm paper).
Sign up here (https://training.gatheringfolds.com/summer) and get ready to fold 30 twists together with friends around the globe this summer!

Happy folding,
Madonna
