We're very sorry that you found Joseph's post objectionable. Prior to his posting it, we discussed the content, and whether it would cause problems on the list.
We decided that, as stated in the message, sometimes art is indeed political, and that folks might not agree with or be offended by the cause it was created to support. The title of the piece made the content clear, and readers could choose whether or not they wished to follow the link, or ignore it. That an artist might make art supporting their views around such a contentious, complex and difficult situation is hardly surprising. Posting about the existence of such art was not intended to offend, nor make anyone feel unwelcome or threatened in any way. And, at the end of the day, the post was about *origami art* - you might not like how it was executed, what it represents, or what it is in support of, but that happens, sometimes, with art.
