I've put together a fun challenge as a gift to the origami community this year: Advent of Tessellations!
I'll be releasing a new video tutorial for a mini twist-based tessellation each day from December 1 to December 25 along with a decoded crease pattern so you can see the deeper structure and how it repeats on larger grids too.
Each pattern is folded on a 16-fold triangle grid on a hexagon and has no additional precreasing, so they can be folded in around 30 minutes.
I selected these patterns for a gradual increase in difficulty, starting close to tessellation-beginner level and going all the way up to advanced, and also for their appeal as decorations and gifts so there's something to fold here for everyone.
