Hello fellow folding enthusiasts!

There’s a common perception that tessellations are particularly difficult to design and that all the easy designs are taken already.
That hasn’t been my experience at all.
You don’t need to go to hard, esoteric territory to find new designs - they’re abundant and freely available to those who look in the right places.

If you've ever wondered how to design new tessellations, I'll be explaining my most recent breakthroughs and giving you the tools to make patterns of your own (and crease patterns with photos for 60+ of mine 😲) at Advanced Twist Techniques on October 15th!
It's a pay-what-you-want online event (minimum $5) with access to recordings, examples, and templates designed to help you see the open areas for new designs at the edge of tessellation knowledge.
This year I'll be explaining number lines of twists, hybrid twists, mixed-depth twists, and design equations for expanded symmetries and Ben Parker will explain his twist notation system and how to modify twists.
Tessellation design doesn't have to be any harder than playing with Legos - and Advanced Twist Techniques is where I'll show you how to put the pieces together.

Happy folding,
