Dear Fellow Folders
Origami & Beyond is proud to present P3OC - the first Practical/Puzzle/Play Origami Convention. - 32 workshops in two parallel classes. - A mix of new and classic models! - Recordings will be available for 6 months! - Enjoy the Origami Lounge between the workshops! - Better timings for both Europe and the Americas! - So mark your calendar: Saturday to Sunday, April 30th to May 1st, 2022. >From the first days of origami, folded paper was meant to be used. Before we had magnificent dragons there were models for rituals, holding salt, or playing with the kids. Our convention is dedicated to the practical side of origami. We have many useful items, toys to bring a smile to your faces, and puzzles to sharpen your minds. The world of origami, like any other field of creation, can be divided into two: the creations you are only supposed to look at, and the models you must touch and use in order to enjoy them. The list is long: containers, purses, bookmarks, earrings, airplanes, bowls, vases, magic tricks, paper puzzles, and many more. It is time to celebrate the ingenuity of those models, and make our lives a little better! Our list of models, as always, is a mix of old and new, classic and modern designs. We curated a list of 32 workshops by creators from all over the world. Some of them will join us to teach the models, and some will be taught by our team of expert teachers. Please be aware that for the first time we are going to duplicate the first lessons every day, and teach them again at the end of the day. By this we make sure our times fit both Europe and the Americas! America times: 12:00 to 22:30 (NYC time) Europe times: 14:00 to 00:30 (Paris time) All the details about the models are presented in the following booklets. You can download the relevant one from the event page on Mixily: https://bit.ly/3uMBoPJ or download it directly from here: America times: 12:00 to 22:30 (NYC time) https://bit.ly/3NwoRIE Europe times: 14:00 to 00:30 (Paris time) https://bit.ly/38al2J6 In the booklet, you’ll find an explanation on how to convert the times to your local time, or to add the events to your calendar. We hope to see you at our convention! Ilan and Guy Origami & Beyond
