Hi O-listers, I am proud to present our new book "Curved Folding" we created with Dáša Ševerová!
1. The first chapter is about easy curved folding models to get you started: flowers, hearts and other fun little models. With difficulty from * to ****. 2. The second chapter talks about the whole class of curved tessellations that we called "Parallel" tessellation. It contains 12 easy etudes to get you started on curved tessellation folding along with the instructions and some theory about how to get more complex ones. Crease patterns for that chapter are included in a printable PDF file, that comes with the book. We specifically focused on scoring techniques you could repeat at home using a minimal set of tools, without any complex equipment. 3. The third chapter is about curved cylinders. 4. The fourth chapter talks about spirals and how you cook them, including some cute easy(**-***) flowers and spiral models along with some theory on spiral folding, that you may need for variations in the next chapter. 5. And the final chapter, tadadada! talks about spiral tessellations! It contains 6 spiral tessellations along with some ideas on how you fold, shape and get variations of them. The book aims not only to teach you specific models, but to broaden your understanding of curved folding and to encourage experiments along the way.
