Assuming that the folding symbols are clear for a beginner, would you say
that text clarifications are or are not necessary on each step? Why?
I would say they should be included. The reason is that some people
learn/understand better from words than from pictures alone, and I've seen this
directly with people who have proof-folded some of my easy diagrams.
