Bone folders are a topic that arises from time to time in this list. Last
time I asked about them, Mark Kennedy made sure I got lots of them with the
next person from Colombia that he met.

An origami friend of mine is taking woodwork classes and one of the first
things he made was some piece he called a "bone" folder he showed it to us
in a meeting last weekend and people was wondering what was the right way
to use it, since to some people one of the edges was the appropoate one but
to some others it was some other edge or even some other area of the piece.
I thought of looking in Youtube for instructions but different videos show
different ways to use them. For instance the bone folder that looks like a
knife, I always thought the part you use to crease is the one that would be
the cutting edge of the knife, but one video shows that the part used is
totally the other side, the one that is straight.

So what is the right way to use it? I guess this is all a matter of
personal taste but I wonder in case I am using it in the wrong way and
missing on some of its advantages.

Thanks.
