Hello, Tom! I've been carefully examining orientdb for 2 weeks now and I have found as many tutorials as possible. Unfortunately, C++ driver tutorial doesn't exist. Also, I'm very surprised about why so beautiful designed DBMS like OrientDb has so old drivers (many of the drivers have not been being updated for many years, e.g.: C driver <https://github.com/tglman/orientdb-c> (archived).
Concerning document nodes in graph model. Yes, this is one of the key features of OrientDb. You can use graph node (vertex) wich may has as many properties as you need: it's a document as graph node abstraction in action.
