Troubleshoot application issues and support the application development cycle involved with application design, deploying code, and resolving any Middleware problems. Other duties include monitoring production environment, tuning J2EE application servers to optimize performance, participating in production outage calls, stabilizing and improving JVM performance. Performing server administration tasks to ensure optimal up-time as well as working with our development teams to ensure the proper configuration of our client's enterprise wide application environment. *Major Responsibilities:* 1. Responsible for the installation, configuration, administration and daily maintenance of enterprise-wide systems 2. Responsible for the management of all systems and services including installation, configuration, support and benchmarking, statistical information and metrics needed to proactively manage and plan growth to the server environment 3. Give advice on architecture, capacity planning, utilization, and limitations of middle tier web and application solutions 4. Must have experience or in-depth knowledge of J2EE framework and applications with at least 5 Years of experience in Middleware products such as JBoss, Tomcat, Sun One Web Server or WebLogic Application Server and JRun *Experience:* 1. 5+ years of experience installing; configuring; and administering application servers 2.
