Position : UI Designer/Front End Developer Location : Hershey, PA Duration : 6 Months
*MINIMUM 8YRS IT EXP REQUIRED* Summary of Responsibilities: Develop and iterate prototypes that run on mobile devices to validate design concepts based on wireframe designs and low-fidelity mockups. Use of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop to apply visual look and feel to wireframes/ prototypes that are in line with client approved brand guidelines. Implement design mockups in code for various platforms and browsers using the latest front-end technologies, including responsive web design. Effectively communicate front-end technology implications and blockers in a clear and timely manner to manager and stakeholders Participate in requirement gathering and functional specification activities, provide feedback on implementation feasibility. Work with other developers to integrate front-end code with other technologies including server side code, APIs and web services, and content management systems when required. Excellent visual, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present prototypes, diagrams, and user flows to team members and clients. Experienced w/ Agile project development environments. Basic Qualifications: 2 years' experience designing interactive web and mobile application UI 3 years' experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript Experience implementing JavaScript and CSS3 based animations, transitions, and behaviors. Proven experience with touchscreen, cross-browser compatibility, fluid layouts and adaptive layouts Intermediate experience with Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop and Illustrator Ability to work internal and external stakeholders Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment Quick learner with exceptional organizational and prioritization skills, able to deliver on multiple projects simultaneously Preferred Qualifications: Solid understanding of Web best practices Understanding of the User Experience process and UX deliverables Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, software interface design, web development, or a related field.
