Details: We are looking for someone with 5-6 years of experience with HIPAA Regulations, EDI Transcations. 834, 835, 837, 270, 271 Responsibilities: * Share HIPAA-compliant expertise with trading partners requesting clarification on EDI standards, file mapping rules, and system logic. * Ensure proper setup of the EDI tools and systems that support file transfer between MPI and new trading partners. * Conduct necessary testing and in-depth analysis to resolve any potential issues prior to rolling trading partners into the production environment. * Support both inbound EDI issues with issuer and outbound issue with FFM. * Tracks the status of assigned tickets to insure timely completion, maintains communication with customer regarding progress of work, and notifies appropriate parties when open issues have been resolved. * Work with electronic vendors for quick issue resolution. * Monitor Send File failure and file rejection (from the Monitoring team) from /to client. * Analysis 999 Acknowledgement and work on resolving the rejection * Tracks trends and issues, validates with in-depth data and analysis; applies solutions quickly * Monitor, audit, and report on the processing of newly implemented trading partners to confirm their successful transition to the production environment * Stay current with changing technical protocols and Healthcare regulations regarding data exchange. * Continue to research and establish communication channels with industry-recognized organizations that provide EDI insights and direction (for example WEDI * Perform routine and ad hoc analysis of various facets of EDI processing including but not limited to system performance, turnaround times, data mapping, and claim volumes. * Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
