LAUDERDALE, FL DURATION: 3 MONTHS WITH EXTENSIONS INTERVIEW: WEBCAM TO HIRE Locals preferred ,non locals are okay too Keys to this job: 3-5 years of experience in the area of Salesforce (mandatory) 1-3 years of experience with HP-QC tool A big plus: Testing Salesforce Territory Management Position Summary: The Tester will verify that the Salesforce.com application under test meets project requirements by performing system testing after initial development has been completed. We are in the process of building an application within Salesforce.com to leverage the current objects that we utilize for Territory mgmt. The tester will need to have a thorough understanding of the Salesforce.com objects; expertise in areas such as Lead mgmt & territory creation is preferred. At a high level the Tester does the following on projects: • Assist test lead in planning and estimating the QA efforts based on the story points for each sprint • Responsible for creation of test documentation and assets after analyzing the project’s requirements • Creates required test cases and the required test data for SIT and UAT • Executes test cases and support resolution of defects • Reports on test status and raises test-related risks • Supports UAT and hyper care The Tester must be capable of assisting in the resolution of complex project problems, and communicating concepts to audiences with mixed levels of technical & business abilities. The candidate must be recognized by his/her peers as an acknowledged “expert” in the area of testing. The candidate must have the ability to make sound decisions and to communicate the effect of those decisions to a broad audience. Primary Accountabilities: This individual works with IT project teams to carry out system test efforts. The primary duties for this position include but are not limited to: Test Planning Support the Test Lead in delivering following responsibilities: • Working closely with the Test Lead in the Sprint Planning process • Assisting with Test Lead in finalizing the acceptance criteria and scenarios for the user stories in each sprint Test Execution • Responsible for creation of System Test Cases, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts • Responsible for executing the System Test Cases based on the requirements and user stories • Participating in defect review meetings and support defect resolution • Reporting testing progress and status to the test lead • Working with the technical team to ensure the Salesforce.com and other integrated systems’ are configured appropriately for testing • Working closely with development on a daily basis during the sprints Post-Implementation • Supporting resolution of defects during hyper care phase • Participating in the post mortem with Test lead • Ensuring the final status of test assets corresponds to the project’s final state Service Orientation • Be able to execute detailed delivery tasks. • “Ramp up” quickly to a proficient level on new processes, tools and technologies. • Demonstrate high “Speed of Delivery” and the ability to effectively multi-task between different initiatives. Teamwork • Recognize that the purpose of technology is to serve the needs of our clients, project teams, and Citrix business objectives. • Maintain a cooperative, “can do”, service-oriented attitude Professional Communications / Attributes • Use mature professional language. • Demonstrate proficient writing skills (crisp and concise). Qualifications: The Tester must possess excellent problem solving and communication skills. The individual must be flexible, dependable, capable of multi-tasking, and quickly learning complex concepts. The individual must be expert in the area of testing with an understanding of test tools and how those apply to the overall testing process.
