*Performs technical analysis, design, and software development using appropriate technologies to support department and company objectives. *Works with analysts to define the functional and technical needs of an organization and recommend solutions. *Assesses available technologies to meet needs, and then define technical specifications and designs. *Develops and modifies technology systems, addressing functional, performance, security, quality, operations and monitoring needs. *Creates detailed test scenarios, performs testing and analyzes results. *Documents all technology changes through appropriate change control. *Requires staying current on engineering approaches, technologies and techniques. *Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. *Provides support and troubleshooting of prior developed technology solutions. *Software development and support using service oriented architecture (SOA) technologies such as Java, XML and WSDL. **Experience with JMS, JMS Message Selectors, Oracle Service Bus(OSB). Experience de-ploying and managing SOA Composites and OSB Flows.* **Ability to debug SOA Composites using open tools like SOAP UI.* **Familiarity with Oracle PLSQL, Stored Procedures, and Functions.* **Desired: Familiarity with Oracle EBS.* *Designs services to maximize reuse. *Has close interaction with the Business Analyst and Application Developers in the design, development, and maintenance of software solutions. *Translates functional specifications into technical specifications to meet and resolve business needs. *Works with Business Analysts to clarify business requirements for interfaces. *Authors and tests deployment instructions. *Service enables existing systems and applications by working with Application Development teams.
