Oracle RAC, Oracle 11g, Oracle tools, Enterprise Manager Grid Control, RMAN, Data Pump, ASM Proven Oracle Database Administration experience. Experience in MS-SQL database admin is highly preferred Experience of working in a team that delivers a high availability service. Practical experience in monitoring and tuning a database to provide a high availability service. Practical experience in performance tuning of Oracle databases as well as specific SQL statements Practical experience in analysing infrastructure bottlenecks and infrastructure sizing Experience and know-how of Oracle RAC is desirable Experience and know-how of Oracle 11g Experience and know-how of Oracle tools: Enterprise Manager Grid control RMAN Data Pump ASM Able to follow-through on tasks and small projects Strong analytical skills and communication skills Ideally: Application know-how and tuning experience of Oracle and SQL Production severs Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science or a related field with systems experience preferred. 7-10+ years of system experience, including 3+ years on large enterprise applications, in developing and/or supporting applications to solve business problems.
