*Job Title : .NET Developer* *Location: Chicago, IL(Only Locals)* *Duration: 6 month CTH * *Interview type: Phone then Face to Face.* --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Consultant is responsible for: (a) working closely with team members, technical officers and business units to understand requirements and deliver optimal solutions and (b) interpreting technical design requirements, and working closely with Team Leads and other team members to design and develop high performing scalable solutions. Consultant may be assigned to design, or assist others to design and code interfaces for both “off the shelf” and proprietary software products. Consultant participates in full life cycle development of proprietary applications, with an emphasis on the design and development phases. • Contributes knowledge of system & application functionality to assist with correctly shaping the high level design parameters • Develops detail technical designs for new initiatives and enhancements to existing applications. • Completes assigned development and testing tasks in a timely manner with focus on quality and usability. Escalate appropriately when assigned work is delayed due to conflicting requirements, priorities, etc. • Acts as “resident expert” by providing design, support and solutions for multiple projects, in their specialized area(s) of expertise. • Devises algorithms consistent with specification and creates and execute programming commands, following coding standards, conventions and procedures, to implement those algorithms • Assists applications support personnel in researching and analyzing any post production system defects. SDLC methods – Waterfall, Agile (Scrum) Languages/Frameworks: .Net/C# T-SQL Operating Systems Windows 2008R2 RDMS: SQL Server 2008R2/2012 App Server: IIS Other: SSIS, Webservices, SVN, Tortoise SVN, myEclipse Visual Build Pro Minimum of 5 years client server software development experience or 7 years combined applications development and support experience Financial systems experience a plus. Capital Markets, Finance or Accounting background a plus. Four year degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or the combination of equivalent applications development and support experience and technical course work Excellent speaking, listening, telephone, and writing skills Strong collaboration and team work experience Customer service focus Strong analytical skills High degree of personal accountability and integrity Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
