*Wintel Apps Support*

*5-8 yrs. experience – L2 level*

*Main Responsibilities:*

1.            Resolution of 2nd line application and *Middleware* support
issues
2.            Following defined *Change/Problem Management* processes for
Operational services

*Essential Hard Skills*

1.                   Strong knowledge of *Wintel servers* (Windows 2003,
2008)
2.                   Housekeeping of Wintel servers (*disk cleanup,
performance tuning*)
3.                   Experience with *Apache*, IIS Application servers & *SQL
servers*
4.                   Good Understanding of Web Servers technologies
5.                   Good Understanding of *DNS* and *Networks*
6.                   *Performance Analysis* and Tuning/Optimization
Operations
7.                   Experience in *Citrix* troubleshooting
8.                   Specific experience must include *installation,
configuration, administration, deployment, troubleshooting* in
*Production*environment.
9.                   Good understanding of ITIL processes and Production
support experience.
10.               Available for 24x7 support in Production environment.
11.               Experience in providing 2nd line support


*Desired Hard Skills*

1.            Knowledge of WAS Security, SSL and integration with Active
Directory.
3.            Understanding of networking including network load-balancers,
firewalls, and DNS.

*Essential Soft Skills*

1.            Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate
technical ideas and document reports and procedures.
2.            Strong customer focus and experience of working for highly
demanding customers in a high-pressure environment.


*Desired Soft Skills*

1.            Experience of working for a global financial organization
2.            Ability to communicate with people from all levels of the
organization
