Develop and manage automated UNIX scripts to handle day to day database activities. Management of database users, roles, privileges and access Review database security vulnerabilities and Critical Patch Updates. *Technical skills* Ø 5 years or more experience with Database Administration skills in Oracle (7, 9i, 10g, and 11g) Ø 5 years or more experience with Database Administration skills in SQL Server (2000, 2005, and 2008) Ø Experience in supporting and managing multiple HP UX, Red Hat Linux, and Microsoft Operating Systems, utilizing High Availability solutions such as Service Guard and Windows Clustering. Ø Have a good knowledge in disk hardware architecture, RAID implementation, cache controllers, and disk balancing. Ø Conduct as needed Performance Tuning & continuous capacity monitoring.
