Participate in full project lifecycle activities while building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers and colleagues. Must be able to multitask in a fast paced, deadline driven, complex, and rapidly changing environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, analytical abilities, and interpersonal skills are essential. Must be able to share knowledge with other team members. Must be able to assist in the development of project plans, prioritization across multiple and simultaneous activities, estimation of project resource requirements, and exercising of "stakeholder management" across diverse constituencies. Working in conjunction with other members of Implementation project team, the Implementation Programmer/Analyst will: . Understand how the specific module they are assigned to relates to other technical areas, rather than be an expert in any particular technical area, . Collaborate with other members of the module teams (Business Analysts, Module Leads, subject matter experts) and appropriate Technical Leads and other project team members to support successful implementation. . Serve as a technical point of contact for module teams, responsible for assisting with technical analysis, troubleshooting issues, answering technical questions, providing input, etc. . Coordinate module related technical / functional communication and collaboration with assistance from the Technical Project Manager as necessary Position Qualifications . Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. . Minimum 3 (5 preferred) years of experience designing, developing, implementing, maintaining and supporting complex software systems. . Enterprise-scale system implementation experience preferred. . Experience in the following areas: analyzing business requirements; researching and understanding data structures, relationships and interactions; designing detailed specifications; developing, executing, and evaluating test plans; maintaining technical documentation; estimating project resource requirements; exercising stakeholder management across diverse constituencies; designing, developing and implementing system solutions. . Must have experience with Java, SQL (Oracle preferred), integrating multiple technologies, etc. Must demonstrate an ability to develop competence in new subject areas with little or no formal training or oversight, and continuously expand knowledge about technology and methods supportive of business processes. Experience on multiple operating systems highly desirable. . Must have strong customer service skills. . Must be able to assist stakeholders in defining and refining complex business concepts and requirements into smaller manageable work units as well as translate those business concepts into technical designs of products and services. Must be able to explain and translate technical concepts and designs into business language. . Must understand and be able to apply accepted industry standard practices for the full software development life cycle including: source code control, proper coding practices, unit testing, system testing, quality assurance, configuration management, bug tracking, customer service, and ongoing product support. . Must have strong written & oral communication skills & ability to manage multiple assignments in a proactive manner. . Must be able to work independently.
