MUST have STRONG communication skills MUST have EMC experience Job Description: Provides system administration and support for large scale enterprise storage environment. Performs all standard storage administration tasks including provisioning of enterprise storage to meet business needs. Maintains storage hardware and software to supported revision levels. Maintains detailed storage infrastructure documentation. Performs problem diagnostics and resolution for storage infrastructure to support environment reliability levels. Provides performance analysis for storage arrays and implement corrective tuning actions. Requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other technical resources and storage vendors. Primary Activities and Responsibilities: Installation and configuration of storage management hardware and software infrastructure. Provision storage resources to meet infrastructure and applications storage needs. Support Enterprise Storage Area Network (SAN) environment including fiber channel directors/switches. Support Enterprise Network Attached Storage (NAS) environment. Troubleshoot issues and provide resolution for storage hardware and software. Support 24/7 on-call rotation and disaster recovery. Maintain all storage infrastructure documentation, standards, procedures and configurations. Perform routine audits of storage infrastructure. Maintain production change control schedule and participate in change control review process. Support the implementations of other teams' goals for Mid-tier OS (Operating System), Enterprise Virtualization, and the monitoring teams. Support the Mid-tier OS (Operating System) and Enterprise Virtualization teams at Disaster Recovery. Provide second level support and training to Systems Management and Service Desk teams to diagnose systems problems. Miscellaneous activities and responsibilities as assigned by manager. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree from an accredited institution required in Information Systems / Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related major field of study 3 or more years of experience required in Systems Administration, Computer Operations, Programming, or related field in Mid-tier OS (Operating System), Mainframe Operating System (OS), Enterprise Virtualization, or Monitoring environment.
