Position: Java developer
Location: IN
Duration: 6+ months
Mandatory Skills and Experience
• At least 6 years of software engineering experience implementing packaged
applications, preferably financial applications software
• A minimum of 4 years experience with programming XML, Java using OO
concepts, in a commercial environment
• At least 1 year of medium-sized project management (4000 hours) and
technical leadership experience
• Familiarity in working within, and defining, a structured project delivery
methodology
• Ability to facilitate and perform business and application requirements
gathering sessions
• In-depth understanding of Web Applications, Oracle database, and J2EE
Application Server technology, including JSPs, Servlets, IBM WebSphere/BEA
WebLogic.
• Excellent interpersonal communications and technical writing skills.
• Strong customer-centric attitude and strong troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity in working within a structured project delivery methodology
Desirable Skills and Experience
• Familiarity with Risk Management, Business Intelligence, Corporate
Governance, Data Asset Management and/or Business Process Management
solutions.
• Familiarity/Experience in the Financial Services Industry.
• Hands-on experience deploying financial applications
Contract Java developers to assist in development of Enterprise Risk
Management software, which will be built on metadata-driven (content
management) platform. Must have 2-5 years experience with Java development
in web-based environment, Weblogic, struts, Oracle database, HTML, CSS,
Javascript, XML, Java Beans, SQL.
