Position Description: Business Systems Analyst to support the upgrade of Suspicious Activity Monitoring (SAM) platforms and related Anti-Money Laundering (AML) / Bank Security Act (BSA) risk and compliance based projects. * *Experience working in a banking environment with Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) requirements for SAM including AML detection and prevention. Including but not limited to Transactional Monitoring (Experience with SAS AML a plus) and Large Currency Reporting (LCR). Experience with Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) scanning rules and a regulation is also a plus.* ** *Roles & Responsibilities: Drive the development of business requirements for medium to high complexity processes. Define the business process inventory and approach to gathering/documenting requirements. Document current-state processes and data for impacted business processes. Define gaps/issues to be resolved by the project, options for resolution, and recommendation. Document future-state processes and data resulting from recommendations. 2. Support the Detailed Requirements, Design, Test, and Deployment phases.* ** *Detailed Requirements Write use cases as required Review and gain approval for use cases, if applicable. Resolve issues and action items. Assist in Test Planning Design Assist with UI mock ups and/or other design documents, if applicable. Assist in the build of test scripts, if applicable Resolve issues and action items. Test Execute functional and system testing, if applicable Manage UAT testing efforts* ** *Other Minimum Requirements Primary Skills Workflow Modeling Ability to document low to medium complexity workflow models (process maps) from a Business perspective. (Proforma ProVision or Visio experience preferred) Ability to define gaps, options, recommendations and build future state based upon recommendations.* *Use Case Development Ability to understand, review, and create User Goal use cases based on workflow models Meeting Management and Facilitation Skills – Ability to manage and facilitate meetings with business areas,project groups, and technical groups to gain approval, resolve issues, and meet overall project goals. Priority Management – Ability to managed priorities across multiple projects, phases, and tasks. Sense of Urgency - Possess a sense of urgency to drive their tasks as well as others. Teamwork - Display teamwork by assisting others and defusing tense situations and/or personality conflicts.* ** *Secondary Skills Testing Ability to build test scripts and run SQL queries to pull test data.* *Project Management (as needed) Ability to build basic project schedules using MS Project. Ability to facilitate the definition of a project schedule through all phases of the project lifecycle. Ability to manage project phases to a predefined project schedule* *Desired Experience A minimum of 5 years experience driving business requirements in a software development environment required. Candidates should possess a comfort with both business oriented and technical oriented discussions.
