Sufficient experience with the database development, preferably in Microsoft SQL SERVER and Unix process automation using Shell scripting. • Responsible for production support and vendor applications (integration/adaptation of vendor packages) updates and upgrades. • Responsible for the complete application development lifecycle: developing database/application architectures according to the technical specifications, programming, testing and implementation. • Must be able to respond to Customer development requests by identifying solutions and providing detailed development estimates. • Must comply with the company standard change management procedures. • Work closely with clients, business analysts and team members to understand the business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions *Key Skills: 3-5+ years of Database Development with heavy SQL and ETL (preferably SQL Server but Sybase or Oracle is OK) 3-5+ years of UNIX and Shell Scripting (Solaris) 3+ years of Production Support and Financial/Back Office (Risk Mgmt) experience EXCELLENT communication skills* *Description of the skills/knowledge/expertise required :* • UNIX operating system (Solaris): Unix shell, AWK (2 years or more) • Windows operating system - (NT, XP, Win 2000) : Excel automation .
