This person will be part of a highly technical BD software engineering team forging next-generation Informatics solutions that helps saves people’s lives. *Overview:* This person is responsible analyzing customer needs to create compelling solutions and turning them into specifications for development teams. Working with customers and internal stakeholders, the Business Analyst will understand and document detailed business and functional application requirements for customer and stakeholder review and sign-off. This person will work closely with the development team to implement and approve solutions. *Responsibilities:* · Creates requirements for new software components or enhancements to existing software products. · Engages customers and stakeholders to determine product and market needs. · Elicits requirements using interviews, surveys, site visits, process descriptions, use cases, and workflow analysis. · Critically evaluates information gathered from multiple sources, reconciling conflicts, decomposing high-level information into details and distinguishing user requests from the underlying true needs. · Proactively communicates and collaborates with external and internal customers to analyze solutions, workflows, product specifications, use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria. · Serves as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the software development team during planning and development. · Collaborates with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs. · Be the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams. · Adheres to all quality management system and regulatory requirements. · Leads specification and requirement design reviews. *Requirements:* · BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Life Sciences or related discipline · Experience with data management systems. · Experience writing requirements or use cases for software systems. · Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. · Detail oriented; Ability to breakdown abstract ideas into workable solutions · Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including, executives, managers, subject matter experts, and customers. · Strong planning, organizational and time management skills. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Comfortable presenting to large public groups · Team Player · Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines · Ability to adapt to changing priorities · Action oriented with a focus on results *Preferred:* · Knowledge of computers and MS Windows · Understanding of networking and TCP/IP · Experience in a Microbiology lab environment · Experience with software installation/deployment · Experience with Microsoft SQL · Experience in Agile development including SCRUM · Experience with HIS and LIS systems · Experience with hardware and software instrument integration · Understanding of cloud technologies (Public, Private and Hybrid) · Experience with clinical lab, medical or life sciences software, LIS or EMR systems. *Dheeraj Chauhan | Sr. Technical Recruiter | RJT Compuquest* 222 N.
