*Duration: 12 +Months * *Client: TCS // CVS * *Job Description:* Responsibilities: This position required experience with installing and maintaining SQL server 2014, 2012, 2008 and 2005 databases in standalone and cluster environments (experience with SQL 2012 & 2014 a must). Build, upgrade and migrate SQL server from its lower version to latest version is an essential. Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills: 8 + years IT operation with strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices 6+ years Microsoft SQL Server experience. • SQL Server 2005, 2008, 2012 and 2014 knowledge is must. • Database Administration • Database Tuning • Database Management • Database Security • RDBMS • Apply hotfix patches • Migration of old SQL DB to New version of SQL • Good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills • Good Technical documentation skills • Understanding of, and experience with, server-client computing and relational database environments • Experience with data management and data processing flowcharting techniques • Knowledge of reporting and query tools and practices • Good understanding of the organizations goals and objectives • Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language • Self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail • Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database problems. • Experience in Performance Tuning and Optimization, using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools. • Experience with HA and DR methodologies (clustering and Mirroring, Replication and Log shipping) • Experience with backups, restores and recovery models. • Experience with Database upgrades and migrations. *Please provide me your updated resume.* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle-Projects" group.
