*Responsibilities*
· Participate in setting the strategy for data warehousing and
business analytics; set standards and best practices for programming and
data security
· Develops highly available, and reliable database solutions by
designing proposed system; defining database physical structure and
functional capabilities, security, back-up, and recovery specifications.
· Maintains database performance by identifying and resolving
production and application development problems; calculating optimum values
for parameters; evaluating, integrating, and installing new releases;
completing maintenance; answering user questions.
· In conjunction with data owners and business units, *develop
models, procedures, and protocols for reporting in concert* with company
goals.
· Develops Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) processes
to acquire and load data spanning across various on-premise and cloud based
applications
· Collaborate with business leaders, application teams, and
subject-matter experts to a establish technical vision and analytics
strategies for global business functions
*Formal Education & Certification*
University degree in the field of computer science or information
management systems and 8-10 years related work experience.
*Knowledge & Experience*
· Experience (7-10 years and above) with technical requirements
analysis, business process modeling/mapping, methodology development,
report writing and data modeling techniques
· Experience (7-10 years and above) with SQL Server, SSAS, SSIS and
SSRS
· Experience with SaaS solutions such as Workday, Salesforce, SAP
and Great Plains is a nice to have.
· Experience in designing prototypes and working closely with
implementation teams in engineering and operations
· Experience collaborating with global teams
· Strong customer service orientation.
· Project management skills and project management software skills
Ability to work independently and collaborative with other staff members
