*Position: Sr. Data Scientist / BI Specialist * *Location : Cambridge, MA * *Duration: 3+ Months* *Interview Mode: Phone / Skype * *Job Description* · Enterprise Architecture team is seeking for Data Scientist/BI Specialist to develop integrated roadmaps for analytics capability development · Develop and deliver decision support visualizations and reports, algorithms, models, dashboards and/or tools. · Integrate cross functional teams in the analysis of data sets using advanced analytics techniques such as statistical analysis, mathematical optimization and simulation. · Applies complex or new algorithms to create descriptive, predictive or prescriptive models to achieve analysis that directly support strategic business goals and objectives. · Assess and confirm performance of visualizations, models and analysis. · Develops strategies for data collection or simulation to support business needs. · Through visualizations and summarizations, defines performance, identifies trends, outliers and drivers. Identifies potential trouble areas and suitability of data, works with business to develop mitigations. · Able to extract data (from a variety of sources including BI systems, and SalesForce.com) and perform detailed data analysis · Support and develop data analysis frameworks that will support daily/weekly/monthly operational reporting and executive dashboards · Take a lead role in developing and publishing reports, dashboards, presentations, and tools to aid consistent tracking of Enterprise KPIs · Collaborate with IT to Deliver/Enable Solutions using Agile/Fast Track methodology. · Assist in applying and expanding new technology and tools specifically related to data extraction, aggregation, and presentation. · Will require basic R scripting skills (basic bash or python); basic Linux usage and system administration, basic MySQL skills, working knowledge of Git, and reasonably good idea of how secure shell and FTP work. · Perform necessary data preparation and enhancements to models. *Job Requirement * · Expert understanding of foundational architectural concepts and architecture frameworks and tools, defining and implementing enterprise information architecture and MDM solutions · Hands-on technical experience and conceptualizing large scale data solutions, such as --- Hadoop, Teradata, Microsoft Analytics Platform System (APS), IBM Netezza, etc. · Experience in building and implementing an architecture roadmap for next generation enterprise data and analytics solutions preferred · A good understanding of enterprise application integration, including SOA, ESB, EAI, ETL environments and an understanding of integration considerations such as process orchestration, B2B integration and Master data management. · Report Authoring/Development experience using various tools like Tableau, Qlik, · Documented experience as a BI analyst specifically with Tableau software – both Tableau Desktop & Tableau Server · Must have advanced Tableau, Dashboards, SQL Queries/ optimization experience · Strong analytical skills, Good communication skills. · Tableau certification (preferred) · Prior experience handling multiple data streams/sets and delivering executive dashboards in a fast paced environment · Strong team player who likes to take responsibility and drive projects to completion *Regards* *Vikas Gupta* *Technical Recruiter* *VSG Business Solutions* *221,Cornwell Dr, Bear, DE 19701* *Email :vi...@vsgbusinesssolutions.com <vi...@vsgbusinesssolutions.com>* *Contact No : 302-261-3207 X 109* *Hangout :vikas9181.vsg* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle-Projects" group.
