*Position : Project Coordinator * *Location : Columbus OH and Tulsa, OK * *Duration : 12+ Months * *Interview: Phone Interview ( Local is preferred)* *Job Description* • Telecom continues to grow in its project load for Distribution and Transmission. • The lead engineer serves as engineer and project manager on 90+% of our Telecom projects. • Formal PM’s are assigned only to CI level projects. This trend will continue into the foreseeable future. • We have spent the last year rolling out the process and tool. • The coordinators will assist lead engineers in project planning, coordination with field and customers and ensuring we meet agreed upon dates. • These coordinators will initially be assigned to multiple regions. • Project (and reason for additional resource): Coordinator will be assigned to a region and coordinate across all projects in that region. • To and from dates if there is a specific end date: No expected end date at this time • Assign a coordinator to all projects to keep target completion dates and project plans current. • Current Staffing: • We currently have 3 coordinators, 2 assigned full time to SCADA (500+ projects) and one for global metrics, reporting, tool and process education and support. *Job Responsibilities * • Keep target completion dates current. • Coordinate between engineering, operations, and customer to ensure projects run smoothly. • Keep Service Now tasks current. • Do reporting to ensure all projects are on track and escalate those that are not. • Stretch goals include beginning to help with ordering, outside contractor coordination, and work releases.
