This person would be serving a dual role: 1) System health and root-cause analysis / technical issue resolution for our legacy Pathology LIMS system and 2) DevOps / system administration helping the team put in place infrastructure to support a new microservices initiative. This person will need to have a good understanding of system and application component interaction in shared environments. This foundation provides the basic tools to perform analyses to effectively perform root-cause analysis and resolve issues for the Pathology LIMS system (PathLIMS) System Health of PathLIMS Skills · Experience configuring and troubleshooting Linux headless systems using only command-line tools · Some experience administering Linux shared environments, particularly in the areas of networking and security · Familiar with deployments using cloud hosting platforms such as Heroku and AWS · Worked with containers and lightweight virtualization, such as Docker · Some experience with building and deploying web applications using tools such as Maven, Vagrant, Grunt and ANT · Exposure and management of Tibco or other traditional ESB providers · Have worked with Continuous Integration tools and frameworks and have run automated test suites · Understand shell (bash, c), furlani load modules, PowerShell · Good communication skills · Ability to organize, self-manage, follow-through and coordinate for prioritization Thanks & Regards..
